Almost Over

Another holiday season is coming to a close. This season started out a little crazy, but is has all come together. We are finally settled into our house (for the most part anyway). We went to a party in Ogden on Christmas Eve, had a wonderful Christmas Day at home, and had our Johnson Family Christmas party last night. What a great ending for Christmas.

Jordyn has been playing with her new baby, taking it for walks in the stroller, and feeding it a bottle and occasionally giving it her binky!

Spencer has been building lightsabers, playing on the X-Box, and enjoying his new toys.

Everyone was able come to our house last night. Ben, Jen and the kids barely made it down from Idaho, and even Grandma Johnson came. The kids loved opening their presents, the adults enjoyed good food and catching up on everything, and Uncle Aaron was right in the middle of all the kids (as usual)! He's going to be a great dad!

Jordyn took a moment to climb on me and pose for a picture.

The cousins had a lot of fun playing with each other. They were all such good kids! I was a little nervous about that many kids in our house, this being our first party! But it was GREAT! My cats were a little freaked out, but that's fairly normal with any large crowd. (Large being anyone more than us!) They have issues.
Thank you to everyone for making it such a great evening!
Now my house is quiet, Spencer and Jordyn are upstairs playing with all their new treasures, everything is still clean (amazing), and Eric and I are relaxing. I love the holidays! I always hate to see them go, but it will be fun to see what a new year brings. This year had so many changes, it would be nice to have a quite, boring year. We'll just have to wait and see.

Thanks for hosting such a great party last night. We had a great time. Hopefully your cats have recovered from all the people.
